These spectacular racing wheels are designed for the serious rider. This design is a taper lock system, which allows the rims to self center and lock into a wheel (tire assembly). This taper lock wheel is manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum to a tolerance of .0002 and utilizes a 3 bearing setup to reduce side loading. The advantage of the assembly is to allow the replacement of different size tires using the same rims. The over all result is a very true spinning wheel at an affordable price.
